It's all fun and games...UNTIL....

I don't know about you, but I was one of those kids who dismantled toys so I could modify them into...shall we say...more interesting specimens (and, yes, I have been compared to Sid in Toy Story).  In this class we will tapping into some of that mischievousness and reinventing toys.  In some cases we will actually be making traditional toys from scratch...albeit with a slightly unusual bent.  And in other cases the toys will be put on the operating table for aesthetic make-overs.    So...go round up everything from Barbies ,to Tonka trucks, to snow globes, to wind-up zeppelins...because we are going to reassemble them “into something rich and strange”.   Don’t worry if you toys aren’t dismantled yet…we can take care of that…bwwwwahahahahahaha (evil laugh – in case you were wondering). Using various techniques of assemblage we will turn your studio in to a laboratory of the weird. Barbie and Ken will never be the same….as I said before ….bwwwwahahahaha.
