    • Aluminum Foil – for creating the basic Spud form.

    • Plaster Wrap

    • Masking Tape

    • Aves Apoxie Clay or Aves Apoxie Sculpt – for sculpting facial features, hands, hats, accessories, etc.

    • Evergreen #429 Polystyrene Tube – 9/32" (.281") – this is important. We’ll use this to create the sockets for the interchangeable parts.

    • 1/4" Wooden Dowel – this will fit into the polystyrene tubing and create the pegs for our interchangeable parts.

    • Variety of Found Objects – doll parts, toy parts, beads, buttons, jewelry bits, gears, chain, hardware, charms, small Christmas bits…anything weird that might make an interesting addition to your Spud characters.

    • Fabric Scraps – useful for clothing, hats, scarves and other assorted Dickensian nonsense.

    • String, Twine and Wire – a couple different smaller gauges.

    • Paint Brushes – a couple small detail brushes and bristle brushes.

    • Paint (good quality like Kroma, Golden or Liquitex…either fluid or heavy body will work). Small tubes will be fine.

      • Quinacridone Gold aka Azo Gold

      • Black (Mars or Carbon)

      • Titanium White

      • Pthalo Green (Blue Shade)

      • Dioxazine Purple

      • Transparent Red Oxide

      • Quinacridone Crimson (or Red)

      • Pthalo Blue
