  • Frame, box or interesting found object to use as the base.  You can work any size. The base/frames should be interesting or ornate and could be any shape.  IF YOU’RE USING A FRAME MAKE SURE IT HAS A BACKING!  This is what we will build up onto.  

  • Variety of found objects that might be interesting additions Items like, dolls,  watch parts, gears, typewriter parts, milagros, bolts, pieces of old metal, straps of leather…anything.

  • Lenses or watch faces might come in handy

  • Aves Apoxy Clay or Aves Apoxy Sculpt (they are about the same)

  • Heart form objects – if you don’t want to create heart out of clay here are a few options:

    • Heart shaped lockets or jewelry etc.

    • Plastic toy hearts or valentine’s toys.

    • Basic pieces of wood – these can be carved into heart shapes.

    • Silicone anatomical heart molds (for making candy/jelly for halloween)

  • Collage Elements.  Maps, book pages, ore design patters make nice background images. If you have a printer you’re using…Laser print is the best.  Ink Jet might run on you.  If you only have an inkjet you might consider having photocopies made instead.

  • Paint Brushes (a couple small detail brushes, and some cheap brushes (1/2 inch to 1 inch in size)

  • Matte Medium or Ultra Matte Medium by Golden Paints

  • Optional Paints - Cobalt Teal,  Sap Green, Paynes Gray,  Benzi Burnt Orange

  • Adhesives: Dap Kwik (Seal for kitchen and bath -White. Should say paintable or water base acrylic or latex), E6000, Wood Glue

  • Tools that would make your life easier: Heat gun, Dremel, Drill
