SUPPLY LIST
1. Something to build your shrine on. Could be a shadow box, a shoe, an iron, a boat oar….literally anything.
2. Variety of found objects that might be interesting additions Items like, dolls, watch parts, gears, typewriter parts, milagros, bolts, pieces of old metal, straps of leather, dried out spaghetti…anything.
3. A figure to act as your Saint, Lady, or Diety of Discarded Things. This can be something like a doll you wish to alter or something you wish to leave as it is.
4. Collage elements - bits of paper, photos, etc. all types.
5. Masking tape –Tan colored
6. Texture Making Material
o Cheese Cloth
o Cardboard Scraps
o Fabric
o Sawdust
o Kosher Salt
6. Paint Brushes (a couple small detail brushes, and bristle brushes
7. String, twine and wire (a couple of different smaller gauges)
8. Paint (good quality like Kroma, Golden or Liquitex)…either fluid or heavy body will work) small tubes will be fine.
o Quinacridone Gold aka Acra Gold (if you can’t find it don’t worry there are other ways to make the effect)
o Black (Mars or Carbon)
o Titanium White
o Pthalo Green (blue shade)
o Dioxazine Purple
o Transparent Red Oxide
o Quinacridone Crimson (or Red)
o Pthalo Blue
o Nickle Azo Yellow
o Paynes Gray
o Iridescent Colors – Gold, Silver, Pearl. Any Metalic colors.
9. Modern Masters Metal Effect Kit - Patina Rust
o These kits have three components included primer, metal paint, and oxidizer. Make sure you get a kit with all three.
o Optional - if you want to play with other kits such as Patina Blue and Patina Green feel free, they work the same way.

o Matte Medium – fluid or heavy body

o Heat gun
o Dremel – with cut off wheels. and carving tools
o Drill

o Shellac (amber). – ( Only use this if you have a place you have an outdoors place to work. Fire involved.)
